The girl stands alone
crying tears from her eyes
The man she thought she loved
had no trouble saying goodbye
Once
there was
a handsome guy
who held her close
and told lie after lie
I love you dear
I'd never leave you
alone
We'll be happy together
and make a joyous home
So on and on
he told these lies
knowing she'd fall
for them
then they'd say their goodbyes
Well, the inevitable happened
she started to believe
and she let him
has his way with her
on that dark and stormy eve
She had no qualms
about doing it that night
In fact, she
was happy
til the next time he entered her sight
For he was walking
hand in hand
with another girl
on the
beach's sand
She approached him slowly
disbelieving her eyes
Her mind running quickly
over all of his lies
She
started to scream
She started to yell,
"You stupid jerk*
now burn in Hell!"
She drew back her fist
and
let it fly
The next time she saw him
he had a black eye
That's when it happened
the rumors began
Nothing
could stop them
they continued to expand
People were always
looking at her
laughing behind hands
and
pointing fingers
Her phone was ringing
off the hook
But every guy that called
was a Class A jerk
She
is now classified
as the school slut
her reputation's dead
she's treated like a mutt
Now she's alone
hating
all men
she wishes she hadn't done it
she'll never do it again
